A true Hi-Fi speaker – in your wall Using a high quality, cast polymer enclosure and Monitor Audio drive units, the CP-IW260X gives high-performance sound from a very discreet design. 3-way design and high power handling for full-range dynamics Although best used with a subwoofer for the ultimate movie dynamics, the 3-way design makes this a genuine full-range design. Dedicated twin bass units give a powerful sound, right down to 50Hz – about the same as a small floorstanding speaker. With a power rating of 150 watts, the CP-IW260X is also easily able to handle hefty AV receivers.
C-CAM mid-range for natural vocals C-CAM stands for Ceramic-Coated Aluminium Magnesium and is used for the mid-range woofer units. This combination of materials provides the ideal structure for speaker units – lightweight and rigid. This means that the cones move freely and precisely to the smallest signals, giving superb detail and a life-like sound.
Super-smooth treble response Using the C-CAM Gold treble unit gives the CP-IW260X genuine hi-fi sound quality. The C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminium Magnesium) tweeter has an extended frequency response that stretches to 60 kHz; well above our audible spectrum. This ensures lower notes that we can hear aren't compressed downwards or harmonically compromised for a smooth, sweet and detailed treble.
Discreet, low-profile design Despite its broad, enveloping sound the CP-IW260X is a highly discreet wall speaker. The unique Tri-Grip fixing system is not only easy to install but also offers a superior fit, compared to conventional clamping systems. A magnetically attached, removable grille is also included. It's finished in white but can also be painted in your choice of colour to match your decor.
