Much easier to use than the App!I bought this remote control for my Ruark R2M4 (yes, it works with the R2M4 as well as the R1) because I was surprised to find that their wasn't one included with the radio. Ruark say use the App on your phone, but I use the radio by my bedside and so it's difficult to use the App in the middle of the night without finding my glasses first to operate the phone. I can use the remote control by feel in the dark. I'm surprised that Ruark didn't include the remote with such an expensive radio when cheap ones from the Far East always include one! If you're prepared to pay the Ruark price, then you can afford a little extra for the remote. Also, none of the Ruark stockists keep the remote so you have to buy it online and pay almost as much as the remote cost in postage! The great thing about Richer Sounds is being able to use their Click-and-Collect service to save on postage and they have a good shop near to me with helpful staff.
